Bijou is the favorite French Ham Ham, she
is also known as Ribon in Japan, and her name means Jewel in French. She and her owner Maria live in a mansion listening
to Maria play on the piano. Bijou is a great pet because she is always willing to stay behind with Maria when she is
feeling sad, ill, or just plain lonely. While Bijou often spends time with Maria, she still has many ham friends. Someone
even has a crush on her but it's not who she has a cruch on! If you watch the show you know what I am talking about, but if
you don't know what I am talking about .....

Bijou really likes her ribbons. In one episode, Cappy wears his pan hat and he can't see anything
so he lifted it up and he saw a perfect blindfold for a game that the ham-hams are going to play. Bijou is sleeping and she
woke up and saw that she had no ribbon. She saw hamtaro with it and took it sereously that Hamtaro took it. At the end, Hamtaro
got hurt getting acorns for Bijou and Bijou let Hamtaro use her ribbon on Hamtaro's boo-boo.
